Blowing in the Wind!

Pupils at Scoil Bhride, Shantalla, have been doing research on energy, looking at fossil fuels and comparing them to clean energy sources both in Ireland and in the world at large.

They visited Galway Wind Park and spoke to the manager who told them all about this amazing facility and resource.

The pupils have sourced some models that use solar panels and wind for power and will be building them soon.

They are having a great time learning.
